Just like its cousins the iPod, Iphone or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apple.com\/fr\/ipad\/\">iPad<\/a> Apple has always been quite complicated to charge your Mac<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>a connector system of its own<\/li>\n<li>power-hungry features or batteries powerful enough to give it sufficient autonomy<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Also the challenge has always been great, but Powertec engineers have succeeded in a tour de force by relying on the new technology of USB PD.<\/p>\n<h2>The USB type C PD, the solution to charge a Mac comfortably<\/h2>\n<p>Indeed, this new connector can provide energy and power such that we manage to charge the Mac Book type MacBook Air, MacBook Pro 45W 60W 85W and sizes ranging from 12, 13 to 15 inches.<\/p>\n<p>Powertec&#8217;s latest battery, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.powertec.fr\/boutique\/batterie-de-secours\/batterie-externe-pt-111-30-000-mah-111wh\/\">the PT111\/USB Type C PD<\/a> has this port to optimize charging power to Macs that normally use 20V and 100W mains chargers. Weighing only 790g, it will be perfect to take with you on all your travels.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-13509 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.powertec.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/connections-PT111.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"410\" height=\"410\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Using a USB-C to Magsafe 2 cable and plugging it into the USB-C PD port of the latest PT111 battery, it&#8217;s done&#8230;<\/p>\n<h3>But then, you might ask?
